Membership Forms

Membership of the Association shall be open to all Ghanaian authors and publishers and to non-Ghanaian authors and publishers who are resident in Ghana; A Register of Members of the Association shall be kept and updated at the Head office, branches and chapters of the Association. Membership of the Association shall cease in the event of the death or resignation of the member or of his expulsion from membership proposed by the Executive Committee and approved by a simple majority vote in Congress. However, in the interest of justice, the deceased shall benefit from the copyright money due his or her works through his or her next of kin or family. Honorary Membership or Patronship may be conferred by the Association on deserving persons, whether or not they are Ghanaians, who are adjudged to have made significant contributions towards the general fulfillment of the Aims of the Association. Payment of dues shall be compulsory for all members; which same will be agreed upon by the Executive Commitee.

To be a corporate member of the association, the applicant must show a certificate of professionalism in the industry from an accredited institution or proof of published work. The applicant must be willing and able to abide by the rules and regulations of the association. To be an individual member, the applicant must present at least two proofs of published work.
